Chef Meenakshi Sundaram grew up in the kitchens of her ancestral home in Karaikudi, where the aroma of freshly ground spices filled every room. Her family's recipes, passed down through four generations, form the foundation of every dish at Kallakuri Kitchen.

After training at the Institute of Hotel Management in Chennai and staging at acclaimed restaurants across Southeast Asia, she returned home with a vision: to honor South India's culinary heritage while embracing the creativity of modern gastronomy.

Today, Kallakuri Kitchen is a celebration of that vision — where ancestral spice blends meet contemporary technique, and every plate carries the warmth of a family kitchen.
